A benchmark for the North Fork wine region, Bedell Cellars is a family-owned winery with a commitment to quality, creativity, and sustainable farming. Their wines have achieved critical acclaim and were proudly served at the 2013 U.S. Presidential Inauguration. Wine Spectator called its flagship red blend, Musee, a “Grand Vin of New York.” Five of its current and limited-production wines are included in the tasting flight. Wines may also be purchased by the glass or bottle, many of which are not available outside the winery. Winemaker Richard Olsen-Harbich is a pioneer who wrote the North Fork of Long Island AVA in 1986. He uses indigenous yeasts and estate-grown grapes to hand craft wines that express the vine- yard’s unique maritime terroir. He also co-founded Long Island Sustainable Winegrowing, the first sustainability program on the East Coast, in 2012.
