BHFV is both warm and cool…
With a warm and beautiful tasting house and gift shop, this Sound Avenue winery is unique and highly popular for a variety of reasons.
The bucolic property and its incredibly convenient location, at the western-most cusp of the North Fork, with an emphasis on hospitality, features in addition to its great wine, some wonderful food and beverage choices like fresh baked pies as well as craft beer and cider. Visitors love its cool vibe because they are entertained by some of the area’s top musical acts and the fact that there is always a lot else going on.
It is also cool knowing that a portion of the profits from four of its proprietary wines-Angel Chardonnay, Mirage, Savannah Rose and Sweet Isis benefit horse rescue efforts. In addition, BHFV produces a cabernet franc rose dessert wine called Cheval Bleu amongst its overall 14 wine selections, many of which have received medals in competitions.
BHFV is open all year ‘round. The addition of its hot grille, artisanal cheese bar, as well as pie tastings on weekends, coincides well with what has become one family-friendly environment due to a great deal of attention given to the quality of each visitor’s experience and all of the vineyard’s offerings.
