About

When you enter this Cutchogue tasting room, you’ll be greeted by beekeeper Laura and her 12-year-old pug, Beasley. Winemaker Adam Suprenant also stops by each afternoon for additional banter and in-depth discussion about the wines. Coffee Pot Cellars’ fruit – including sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, gewürztraminer and merlot – are all purchased from North Fork vineyards. Coffee Pot Cellars was awarded Best Rosé in New York State at the 2019 New York Wine Classic and their 2013 Merlot recently received 91 points and ‘Editor’s Choice’ in Wine Enthusiast. The Merlot is part of Coffee Pot Cellars’ Merlot for Monarchs Campaign to restore habitat for the decimated monarch butterfly population. For every bottle of Merlot sold, Coffee Pot Cellars works with Blossom Meadow Farm and the Girl Scouts to grow and plant a milkweed on Long Island (the only plants that serve as food for newly hatched caterpillars). Increasingly known for blending wine, art and conservation together, Coffee Pot Cellars is home to an 18 foot-long cork dinosaur ‘Winasaur’ made from over 6,000 wine corks and a knitted tapestry succinctly showing how temperature plays a major role in outstanding vintages. The husband-and-wife team’s wines consistently receive high scores in Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator and medals at the New York Wine Classic.
