Del Vino Vineyards, certified sustainable, is located on the rolling hills in Northport; the towns first vineyard. Owners Lisa & Fred Giachetti incorporate their Italian heritage into their wines and vineyard with recipes that are over 100 years old. Grapes are hand-harvested and processed by a dedicated and knowledgeable team. This essential human touch brings forth the characteristics of each vintage through a balance of delicate coaxing and gentle restraint. When you visit the tasting room, you are coming to their home. Each guest is greeted by the owners who enjoy conversations about wine-making and the history of the 90 year old farm house that was renovated. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas to enjoy wine by the glass or bottle and guests can enjoy live music year round on weekends. The vineyard offers a tapas menu and local craft beer on tap. Tastings are held by appointment only. Throughout the year, guests can enjoy a variety of events including cigar night, wine and cheese pairings and summer lawn games. The vineyard also has space for special events.
