Whether you choose to enjoy a tasting in the courtyard on a warm summer day or an intimate and cozy tasting in the historic tasting room, the highly trained staff at this Peconic winery provides visitors with a memorable experience.
Lenz, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary and is one of the founding vineyards on the North Fork, only produces varietals from estate-grown grapes and has a long-standing and meticulous winemaking process. The staff works hard to create a unique balance of a high-quality, educated wine tasting experience. The winery has also embraced newer trends, such as food trucks and live music, while preserving the farm’s historic and bucolic setting that visitors love. Throughout the year, Lenz offers a variety of educational events, including: barrel tastings with the winemaker, vineyard tours and vertical and library tastings. Other activities include the Merlot Classic, Dinner in the Vines, and more. Live musicians are also booked for most weekends in the summer and fall.
